- What is Trakr?
- Trakr provides a new innovative service to keep track of what your friends are up to online on various other social web sites. It helps you save time, by organizing all their information in a convenient central location.
- Is it free?
- Yes, Trakr is 100% free.
- How can I create an account?
- Click the register button at the top of the page, then fill out the form. It'll only take a minute!
- I haven't received my activation e-mail
- Check your junk mail folder in case your e-mail provider categorized it as spam. If it's not there, contact us and we'll send you another.
- What is a lifestream?
- A lifestream is a log of everything you do. Trakr follows your activity on several different web sites and shares them with your friends.
- I don't want everyone to see my updates or profile, how do I restrict access to my friends only?
- Simply edit your profile and uncheck the Make profile public checkbox.
- How do I add an item to my favourites?
- To add an item click the Add Favourite icon next to an item.
- How can I include my Facebook notifications in my lifestream?
- Go to your Facebook Notifications page on Facebook. At the bottom right of this page copy the link labeled Your Notifications under Subscribe to Notifications. Paste this into one of the RSS feed boxes on the edit sources page on Trakr and your Facebook notifications will appear in your lifestream.
- Album art doesn't show up for some of my Last.fm recently loved tracks, why?
- While we try our best to find album art for all songs, sometimes we just can't find any for the really hard to find songs. Sorry!
- Tell me about mobile updates
- You can add updates to your lifestream using your mobile Simply send a text, picture or video message to 60300 and start your message with the word trakr. Make sure you've added your number on the edit sources page first. Messages are charged at your standard network rate.
- Trakr tells me that my mobile is already registered to another user
- Send us an e-mail and we'll look into this for you.
- A web site I want to add to my profile isn't listed on Trakr, how can I add it?
- Many web sites provide you with an RSS feed of your activity. Simply enter the address of the RSS feed in the edit sources page and Trakr will track it for you. If the web site doesn't have an RSS feed, send us an e-mail and we may be able to add it.
- I can't see the visual lifestream or it doesn't look right.
- You will need Adobe Flash Player 9 or above to view the visual lifestream. If you don't have it, you can download it from the link below.
Get Adobe Flash Player - My lifestream doesn't seem to be updating.
- Make sure the usernames you have entered in the edit sources page are correct. If you are sure they are, let us know and we will look into it for you.
